RAM

MAIN QUESTION: Can a 120MB phone perform good enough in running multiple (maximum of 3) apps at the same time? Or should I get another phone that can perform better?

Hi! I started this new topic so that the site users can give me an idea on what phone will be good to have, considering RAM above all other specs.

I'm going to buy an android phone very very soon. The main reason why I picked to purchase one is because of APPS. And if your an Android Senior, you probably know that RAM matters a lot with applications and games. In addition, I think that multitasking speed and overall performance depends on RAM.

With my low budget, I end up with three different phones with different amount of RAMs.
*Samsung Galaxy Pocket = 120(estimated) MB RAM
*Samsung Galaxy Y = 250MB RAM (estimated)
*LG Optimus L3 = 380 MB RAM (guessed amount)

My verdict would be purchasing the GALAXY POCKET. It's the cheapest among the others. Plus, I cannot deny its 3GB internal memory. I know that apps will run faster when they are installed on the phone and not on the micro SD card.

So my question to those who can read this post would be:
"SHOULD I PURCHASE THIS PHONE WITH ONLY 128MB RAM TO SUIT MY NEEDS (WHICH IS RUNNING MULTIPLE APPS AT THE SAME TIME SMOOTHLY)

hello! what kind of applications would you like to run side by side? I think you should go for the higher phones that will fit your budget. Hope this helps. ;)

I usually run Gmail, Google Drive, and the built in music player at the same time. Would a 128MB RAM phone do that smoothly?

How about heavy gameplay? I play a lot of MMORPGs in my PC, and probably, with my future phone. Can a 128MB RAM phone do that in a breeze?

Sorry aioen for my curiosity. XD Just wanna make sure...

And also, mabilis bang mag run ang phone with 128MB RAM ng 1 GAME, ANDROID WEB BROWSER and the MUSIC PLAYER side by side? I also do this on my PC and I am wondering if my future phone can handle that smoothly.
